Ventajasbuenas prestaciones y buenos salarios
Ventajashorarios flexibles, buen ambiente, excelentes bonos etc.

Truly the worst job I've had. Turned me off retail and Adidas
Took a month for the store to finalise my hiring process. Which basically meant I missed out on other job opportunities while I was waiting. I found out this was a common practice for Adidas. Finally started the job really hopeful and excited to be working for a brand that I like. Quickly realised how bad the situation was at the Perth outlet store. My "training" was never officially completed which led to me being confused and never able to answer questions customers had about products. The actual amount of stock that we had at our store was so overwhelming that we could never find items that we knew we probably had, but could never physically reach it. More experienced staff would constantly comment on how the back warehouse should not be in this kind of condition. I then learnt that we were basically the dumping ground for all Adidas stock in the country. We felt completely neglected as a store.
The main issue that I ran into while working here was the fact that a 2ic manager had been hired who was completely unqualified for their position. This was so blatantly obvious to everyone who worked there, that we completely ceased to work effectively as a team. This manager had no intention of helping staff or using their position to make head office know how bad the stock situation was at our location. To say that there was a divide between this manager and the rest of the staff is an understatement. Issues such as arriving late to work (staff and customers would have to wai

adidas is an interesting place to work. On one hand I had fantastic direct managers who genuinely cared for me and my work, but at the same time their managers could care less about me or my work and were seemingly only focused on the bottom line.
Additionally, the work and projects were great for my career development, allowing me to learn so much in a short amount of time, but at the same time the projects often felt meaningless in the grand scheme of things with so many other folks working on nearly the exact same projects.
While I was able to build a great resume while working at adidas, allowing me to move into a better role at a better company, my biggest issue with working at adidas relates to the companies policies and practice around advancement. This is an organization that loves to highlight and reward it's high achievers with praise, financial incentives, and the never ending promise of a promotion on the horizon. I would know, I received exceptional yearly reviews every year and maximum bonuses, all the while being told that I was ready to "take on the next big role" or that my promotion was "just around the corner". I was literally told this for years, and I just kept my head down, sacrificing my home life to ensure that I could get that next step up. But it never happened, just more and more lip service, intended to keep me working hard.
Then the pandemic hit and I was laid off (actually laid off the day before anyone thought to tell me. I even went to meet
VentajasGreat experience, good managers, discounts, lots of PTO, flexible work hours
DesventajasAwful HR, terrible workplace culture, employees are just an expense at the end of the day
Working at Adidas could be a blessing or a curse, depending on the day. Overall, the highlights of employment were enough to override the cons. The culture and the people that they employed were young, energetic, and positive people who shared a love for sports and fashion. The best part about the job was the fact that everyone seemed to care for one another and there was always someone who was willing to help develop you to the next level. Benefits were great, especially if it was your first full-time job.
The most difficult part of the job was the management and it's culture. At first, management led by example and genuinely wanted to help people move forward with their career aspirations. Now, the management team is beholden to sales goals and deadlines that take up the vast majority of their time. Managers also spent a majority of their time either working on office tasks, creating presentations for meetings, or "browsing" their emails. The focus on the associates and the team fell to the way side and the management team basically became a team of well-paid office clerks while the day-to-day managerial tasks fell to "elevated" associates. Most of these associates have no managerial experience but are expected to oversee store operations, delegate breaks and meal periods, and deal with corrective actions to their fellow associates. Not to mention, most of these elevated associates were making barely above minimum wage, not early enough to justify their new responsibili

A typical day at Adidas would is coming in, clocking in, getting huddled in by your store manager or team leader & then going to work. A huddle is when you're being told who the top performers of the previous day were, today's store goal, weather or not we passed yesterday's goal, and anything else needed that'll make the store run more smoothly, like what the week's sales are and when they're going to end.
I learned a lot about sports performance sneakers, originals, and Adidas' apparel. It's more to it than I thought. At first it felt like a lot, but that was because I was completely new to it. I didn't know anything about it, but once you get the hang of it, it'll come so easy to you. The information about the products are definitely essential as a sales associate who spends a lot of time on the floor, assisting customers.
My Store Manager is cool, I like him. He's very flexible and empathetic yet he gets down to business at the same time. My team leaders are great for the most part, I feel secure in being taught by them and guided by them because they know what they are doing and have time under their belt. They also don't look at us sales associates like we're lower than them. I have respect for them.
My co-workers are good. There is always a good vibe at work. There are many jokes being passed during the day & lots of smiles. My co-workers make it easier to work and more enjoyable. The thing about my co-workers and I, is we know how to compliment each other and

Customer Service Representative | Carlsbad, CA | 22 jul 2013
Fast paced, but fun work enviornment. Required very high organizational skills.
I enjoyed every minute of my time at TaylorMade. I commuted 162 miles daily while taking care of my Grandpa so my workday began at 3:00 AM. I balanced the customer service line which included general consumers and retail accounts. Calls ranged from warranty issues, to placing orders or just general product questions, up selling was always encouraged and I excelled in this area. I later took on the role of a Territory Sales Support Representative and managed six accounts in Mexico which were difficult because of international shipping, payment, and communication issues. Along with this I supported a small territory in Southern CA, which included appx. ten accounts. Balancing all my duties was difficult at times but was extremely gratifying at the end of the day. Management was always supportive and my co-workers and I always worked together which made things very easy. TaylorMade strengthened my skills in so many areas such as customer relations, organization, and successfully meeting deadlines. I was very honored to be personally invited by President Mark King into The Red Hat Club which very few employees were included. I received this honor by dedication, and going way beyond the call of duty to provide the absolute best service possible. This award included a personal Lunch with Mark King and less than 40 individuals in the history of the company ever received this honor. I also was given the assignment of itemizing, organizing, and shipping products to TaylorMade's bigges

Better than horrible, but hardly good.
I was in IC during my time at adidas, and its fair to say that this is actually a review of TFE Logistics who is contracted by adidas to handle the day to day operations of the Distribution Center.
It is also fair to say that my overall experience at TFE was not terrible, I made a few friends there that i still speak with and generally i did not dislike my job. but overall this is not a good place to work. the pay is incredibly low for most positions, even management positions compared to other Warehouse/DC jobs. management opportunities are largely about who you know, not what you know. and there is a huge culture of distrust within senior management because they are trying to cling to that little control they actually have. if you smoke they are very anti smoker and you wind up standing in the street or riding around in your car if you want to get one. also having a cellphone on your person and having someone catch you with it is a terminable offense. its a large facility, and if something were to happen to you, it might be hours before someone actually finds you.
I was actually let go due to absences because my supervisor did not give my paperwork from the hospital to HR. i will say that HR did in fact try to reverse the decision at corporate in atlanta after finding that out, but ultimately that was too late. the biggest reason i think this oversight took place was due to what i said above, if supervisors feel like their little grasp of power was threatened, they w
